700 Steps About Tomorrow… in Przecław

Poznań artists Jan Skorupa (Art&Science PSNC Future Labs) and Przemysław Degórski invite you to the presentation of their new promenade installation, which will be a part of the exhibition “700 Steps About Tomorrow…”. The event is going to take place on 17 November 2024 at the Municipal Center of Culture, Sports and Recreation in Przecław.

The first presentation of this exhibition took place in May and June of 2023 during the Poznań Children’s Art Biennale, organized in partnership with the Children’s Art Center in Poznań. Just like the original version, the current installation will follow a three-stage journey: technology, nature and community.

The installation will be an impressive combination of visuals and sound, utilizing multiple screens and spatial audio. Custom-built applications will enable an interactive experience that can be tailored to each presentation. This allows every participant to co-create the story. This time, the entire installation will be housed in a single, large space, creating an extraordinary, immersive experience.

Przemysław Degórski and Jan Skorupa are responsible for the concept, direction, music and sound. Julia Niedziejko prepared the script, while Paweł Sołducha and Maciej Waleszczyk designed the project and visual elements. The exhibition begins on Sunday, 17 November at 10:00 AM. The last show starts at 3:00 PM. Each session lasts 40 minutes.
