Europe’s largest IT fair will take place from 1 to 5 March in Hanover. We are giving away free tickets for fans of modern technology. Tickets also entitle to use public transport for free during the event.

The theme of this year’s CeBIT is cloud computing, which has lately gained a phenomenal interest in the IT world. According to experts, cloud computing is going to revolutionize the entire ICT industry. It is estimated that by 2014 global value of the cloud market will reach 148.8 billion dollars.

This year’s Hannover event will be the review of cloud applications and services for both business and personal purposes. Companies will present the best practices they use in industry, also using cloud computing. Among them, seven companies from Wielkopolska, which usually cooperate within the Wielkopolska ICT Cluster. On the stand organized by the Marshal Office of the Wielkopolska Region entrepreneurs will submit joint achievements in the field of e-infrastructure and advanced ICT services.

CeBIT 2011 will also be a center of information on cloud computing for consumers. Visitors will be able to learn what exactly is cloud computing, how to work with it safely and responsibly, and what cloud innovation will be available soon. The cloud application is already used by a wide range of consumers, for many users it is common to share photos and video on the Internet. It also became common to maintain personal profiles on social networking sites, such as Facebook and LinkedIn, as well as create, exchange and store documents via the Internet.

CeBIT fair has been held in Hannover for 25 years and is considered one of the biggest events of that kind in the world. It has a reputation for innovative products and presenting innovative premieres. Last year the event attracted over 4,000 exhibitors from 68 countries.
