This Thursday, June 25, we invite you to take part in the first edition of the Smart City Wielkopolska conference, which will be held online. PSNC is a Partner of this event, and the main organizer is the Wielkopolska Investment Support Center (WCWI). One of the invited speakers is Cezary Mazurek, Ph.D. (PSNC).
Smart City Wielkopolska is a result of cooperation between WCWI and the City of Poznan. The aim of this event is to create a meeting place for local government officials with scientists, specialists, and practitioners in order to develop the best solutions and cooperation opportunities in the field of the smart city. The originators of the conference want to create a specific platform for the exchange of experiences to search for common goals and determine the actual needs of Wielkopolska cities in order to increase the quality of life of their residents. The event will take the form of a virtual meeting, and the speakers will give lectures remotely by connecting to the main studio from their locations.
“Challenges for the digital transformation of the City of Poznan and the Metropolis in the perspective of 2030 – towards Smarter City” is the title of the presentation by Cezary Mazurek, Ph.D. Director of PSNC (CEO), which will take place at 11:55. The conference will conclude with the debate “Exchange of good smart city practices between cities in the Wielkopolska Region and implementation of joint projects” at 14:15.

GN5-1 Project Trainings Concerning Optical Time and Frequency Networks

The Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center was awarded in the category “Investment Expert”, which was a reflexion of PSNC’s success with the Center’s very own Proxima supercomputer – recognized as one of the fastest machines in the world according to the current prestigious TOP500 list.
GN5-2 Project Presentation at FOSDEM 2025

EmpowerHer – a New Project for Women

EmpowerHer is the name of an innovative program designed for breast cancer survivors, who are encouraged to participate in it during their recovery. Its primary goal is to promote physical activity and social support, so it provides various tools and strategies that are very useful in improving the quality of EmpowerHer participants’ lives. Part of the program is a user-friendly mobile app, which gives women access to personalized exercise routines tailored to their individual needs and abilities.

GN5-2 Project: nmaas Meeting at PSNC

3D Technology for Cultural Heritage
