Agreement on the Polish Network of Autonomous Technology Poligons

Agreement on the Polish Network of Autonomous Technology Poligons
The main objectives of the agreement for the construction and development of the Autonomous Technology Poligons is to support the development of unmanned systems technology in Poland and to stimulate scientific and research cooperation, as well as business collaboration, by providing specialized, previously unavailable test infrastructure. PSNC Director – Cezary Mazurek, Ph.D., signed a letter of intent on joint activities in this field.

The Polish Network of Autonomous Technology Poligons is designed for innovative business entities, construction and academic teams, whose projects have not yet been able to be fully tested due to their unusual nature, specificity of movement, or large dimensions. The network of poligons will enable testing of not only aerial, but also driving and floating unmanned vehicles.

Entities with resources relevant for testing autonomous systems, which are willing to cooperate by sharing their resources, exchanging knowledge and experience or carrying out joint ventures and projects, can apply to join the Network.

A letter of intent concerning joint activities in this field was signed by representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Maritime University of Szczecin, Poznan University of Technology, Warsaw University of Technology, Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center, Civil Aviation Authority, Polish Air Navigation Services Agency and Polish Chamber of Unmanned Systems.
