Broadcast from the 14th Brain Awareness Week

On March 13-17, 2023, the 14th edition of the Brain Awareness Week will be held at the Działyński Palace at the Old Market Square in Poznań. During five meetings, the mysteries of how our nervous system works will be revealed by ten scientists, specialists in various fields of science. A direct broadcast of the event will be prepared by the television team of the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center.

The organizers of this year’s event are the Poznan Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Human Genetics of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

As every year, the event will be attended by specialists from the largest research and scientific centers in Poland. The proposed lectures include:

  • HUNGRY BRAIN: TRAPS OF ANOREXIA, Prof. Katarzyna Kucharska, PhD, Center for Psychosomatics and Health Psychology, Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw,
  • MEETING THE AUTHISTIC MIND, Maria Dabrowska-Jędral, Center for Relationship Development DROGA.
