IFIP SEC 2023 Conference: ICT systems security and privacy protection

For three days, from June 14 to 16, 2023, the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center will host the 38th edition of an international conference on ICT systems security and privacy protection – IFIP SEC. The event is organised by PSNC, Poznan University of Technology and the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP).

he event is organised under the TC-11 IFIP Security Expert Group, of which Poland is also a member, represented by PSNC representative Norbert Meyer, Ph.D. The main objective of the conference is to bring together researchers, but also practitioners from academia, industry and government to present challenges related to IT security and privacy protection. Participants of the Poznan meeting will discuss, but also present practical, cutting-edge research results related to the theoretical and practical aspects of security and privacy protection in ICT systems.

The Chairmen of the Programme Committee are representatives of the Poznan centers: Norbert Meyer, Ph.D. (PSNC) and Anna Grocholewska-Czuryło, Ph.D. (Poznan University of Technology). The main organiser of the local event is Donata Sikorska (PSNC Data Processing Technologies Division).

The Programme Committee consists of several dozen of security specialists from all over the world. The conference will result in the publication of submitted articles in the prestigious IFIP AICT series published by Springer Science and Business Media. The conference programme includes sessions on cryptography, data and application security, as well as auditing and risk analysis.
