Automation of Functionalities on poznan.pl and BIP Websites

The City of Poznań and the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center continue to develop and implement numerous digital services. The next stage of their long-standing cooperation is the project “Automation of Websites’ Functionalities (poznan.pl and BIP)”, which is a part of Action 1.4 called “The development of e-services and public e-resources within the ZIT framework of the European funds for Wielkopolska 2021-2027 program”.

The project is spearheaded by the City of Poznań and its primary objective is to enhance communication between the City of Poznań’s administration and the citizens of the capital of Wielkopolska by improving three e-services within the e-government domain. The goal is to elevate these services to the fifth and highest level of maturity for public e-services, as defined by the European Commission’s assessment methodology, and to implement cybersecurity solutions. As a result of the project, users of the city’s portals (bip.poznan.pl and www.poznan.pl) will have easier access to the various functionalities of these websites.

The new mechanisms on both websites will include the first practical applications of Artificial Intelligence. The main task of PCSS is to integrate voicebots and chatbots with services that can be accessed without the involvement of an official. PSNC is the technological operator of these services. The Center will also ensure a high level of accessibility of the portals for people with special needs. The total value of the project is 951 148,81 PLN – 665 804,16 PLN of which will be co-financed from European Funds.

PSNC has been collaborating with the City of Poznań in the development of the information society in Poznań for nearly 30 years. This cooperation has resulted in the implementation of numerous services and applications.
