About the AgrifoodTEF project at the 6th Forum Networking of Polish Innovation Network partners

The 6th Forum Networking of Polish Innovation Network Partners took place on 25-26 June in Wroclaw. The event was organised to discuss current information from the field of activity of the Network for Innovation in Agriculture and Rural Areas – SIR. Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center, which supports the agri-food sector with ICT technologies, took part in the event.

One of the main objectives of the forum was to network and build relationships between partners, which facilitates the implementation of joint ventures and is crucial for their ultimate success.

As part of the panel “Other sources of funding for innovation in the agri-food sector”, Michał Błaszczak from PSNC’s Internet of Things Technology Department discussed technological support for agri-food SMEs in the development of their products and process solutions based on new technologies, including those in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics, and their validation in real conditions and on real objects. The AgrifoodTEF project, implemented in collaboration with PSNC, was created to support sustainable and efficient food production by providing innovators with the validation tools needed to bridge the gap between their ideas and successful market products. This support can be seen as an entry to the next level of technological maturity of solutions developed in GO EPI projects.
