In the weekly “Polityka” you can read an article about technologies that help to monitor apiaries. The author mentions the EU project DEMETER, which is to promote the use of IoT sensors in agriculture. PSNC is the partner of this project.
The main focus of the project is to optimize pollination through cooperation between the farmer and the beekeeper. The aim of DEMETER is to integrate decision support systems for farmers, farm and apiary management in order to protect bees and improve pollination of crops.
