For three days, from 4 to 6 June 2024, Poznań hosted the 5th meeting of the AgriFoodTEF project, led by the Łukasiewicz Poznań Institute of Technology, and partnered by the Wielkopolska Agricultural Advisory Centre together with the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center.
The main objective of the project is to create a network of test and experimentation centres in Europe to support agri-food technology companies in developing their AI and robotics capabilities as well as validating them in real conditions and on real objects. The overall objective is to bridge the gap between advanced research and targeted marketable products that support efficient and sustainable agriculture while meeting stringent user requirements. The result will be a network of 4 ‘nodes’ and 4 ‘satellites’ that will provide the knowledge and state-of-the-art infrastructure to design and implement AI methodology solutions for real-world testing and experimentation.

ISC’24: PSNC systems again in the IO500 ranking

The HPC data storage system at the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center has again been highly ranked in the prestigious IO500 competition held during the ISC High Performance 2024 conference. The system took 8th place in the '10 Node Production List' category, in which it was listed for the first time, and 14th place in the 'Production List' category, in which the PSNC system has been present since 2023.

During this year's ISC High Performance 2024, the largest HPC conference in Europe, which takes place from 13 to 16 May in Hamburg, Germany, the latest TOP500 list of the world's fastest supercomputers was announced. The list includes the fastest computing systems from the PRACE-LAB and PRACE-LAB2 projects. Two of them are systems from the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center.
