Co-PSNC’s eGovernment considered the best in Poland!
Poznań’s e-government, which was created jointly by Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center and Poznań City Hall, was awarded “the Golden @ “. According to the jury, the capital of Greatpoland has built the most people-friendly administration on the Internet.
Municipal portal was implemented in cooperation with the PSNC. This is not the first such award for the city for an efficient system of information and service on the Internet. Only this year the city took first place in the ranking of “Computer World” magazine in the category of information for residents, and third place in the category of functional city hall on the Internet. A year ago gained second position in the ranking of the best local sites by PRESS magazine, and in 2006 and 2007 www.poznan.pl was awarded for the site of the year. In 2005 Poznań also received its first “Golden @” award.

City site received this year’s award in the category of large municipalities during an ongoing conference “Cities on Internet” in Zakopane, June 23-25. The jury consisted of experts appointed by the Association of Cities on Internet and the Office of Electronic Communications and the Ministry of Interior and Administration.
