On April 14 and 15 at CBPIO, a group of several dozen teachers associated with the AI for Youth and AI for Future Workforce projects met with Intel representatives and PSNC trainers. During the two-day workshop filled with practical tasks, the teachers improved their competence in the field of Artificial Intelligence. They also exchanged experiences on working with students based on the aforementioned projects.

On April 13, 2023, the Future Labs Forum networking meeting was held at the PSNC Future Labs (20 Zwierzyniecka St. in Poznań). The main goal of the meetings, which are organized periodically, is to create an interdisciplinary community working at the intersection of science, technology and social needs. The April event was dedicated to innovations in the field of oncology.

During Lacerta innoDays, held on March 28 and 29, 2023 at the Polish Optical Internet Research Center, students from Poznan University of Technology and business innovators had the opportunity to learn about the Flexible Processing Unit – a system developed by the New Media Department of the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center.

The EuroHPC Summit 2023 conference was hosted in Gothenburg from March 20 to 23, bringing together representatives of the largest HPC centers from across Europe. The event was attended by Norbert Meyer, PhD – Director of Data Processing Technologies Division at the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center.

On March 16, 2023, at 5:00 pm, the ninth Poznań Debate: “Silver tsunami – Poznań for seniors” will be held. It will be dedicated to the oldest residents of the capital of Wielkopolska region. Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Centeras a technology partner will prepare a live broadcast of this event.

On March 13-17, 2023, the 14th edition of the Brain Awareness Week will be held at the Działyński Palace at the Old Market Square in Poznań. During five meetings, the mysteries of how our nervous system works will be revealed by ten scientists, specialists in various fields of science. A direct broadcast of the event will be prepared by the television team of the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center.

The EUH4D Data Forum entitled: “FEDERATED DATA-DRIVEN EXPERIMENTATION – Practical lessons from EUH4D experience” will be held in Hague on March 23, 2023. The meeting will be organized within the framework of the EUHubs4Data project, implemented under the Horizon 2020 program. One of the project partners is the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center.

After a three-year break due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Job Fair returned to Poznan University of Technology. This popular event annually attracts crowds of graduates, not only from technical universities. Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center will also present its offer, for candidates looking for a new and interesting career path.

On March 7, 2023, Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center organized a meeting of the PRACE Steering Committee. PRACE is a European organization dedicated to the provision of HPC (High Performance Computing) services which are used by the scientific community with access to the largest supercomputing systems in Europe.

On March 1, 2023, the last meeting of the CLONETS-DS project was held at the PSNC headquarters. The project is scheduled to end on March 31 this year. The event, organized in a hybrid mode, was attended by representatives of the various partners of the project consortium: GÉANT, CESNET, PTB, ISI, AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow and Piktime Systems.

On March 2, 2023, the Future Labs Forum – the first event of a series of networking meetings – will take place at Future Labs, 20 Zwierzyniecka Street in Poznań. Each meeting will offer interdisciplinary presentations and a space for collaboration, providing an opportunity to share your successes, receive support or find solutions to emerging challenges.

During the 14th edition of the Better Education Conference, held on February 17 and 18, 2023 in Września, participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest trends in the use of information and communication technologies in education. Among the speakers were representatives of the Ministry of Education and Higher Science, research centers, university professors and managers implementing modern solutions in education. The event was also attended by specialists from the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center.
