The Japan IT Week is one of the most important events devoted to the ICT industry, divided into several thematic parts. During the trade fair, an international mission of IT companies and clusters will also take place, organized by EUJCIC (EU-Japan Center for Industrial Cooperation), in which PSNC will also take part, representing the Wielkopolska ICT Cluster.

Last weekend (21-22 April 2018) Smart Spaces of PSNC Future LAB(20 Zwierzyniecka Street in Poznań) hosted young adepts of programming art who worked for 24 hours on a selected project based on controlling devices using brain waves.

The first year of the PROTECTIVE project completed

Since 1st September, 2016, together with 10 partners led by Athlone Institute of Technology (Ireland), PSNC realizes a three-year European H2020 PROTECTIVE project (Proactive Risk Management through Improved Situational Awareness). PSNC is one of three consortium partners – besides organizations from Czech CESNET and Romania RoEduNet – representing National Research and Education Network (NREN) operators. The main goal of the project is to develop platform supporting operational activities of CERT/CSIRT teams in the NREN and SME infrastructures.

During the TNC17 conference taken place in Linz (Austria) on 29 May – 02 June 2017, Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center (PSNC) in cooperation with ADVA and Juniper prepared a demonstration presenting benefits of the packet-optical integrated network infrastructure managed by SDN controller in broadcast IP live video transmissions systems.

2nd European Laryngological Live Surgery Broadcast live from Poznan

Welcome to the second edition of the European Internet Session of the “Laryngological LIVE Surgery”, which will be held on 30 November 2016. The event is organized in cooperation with the European Laryngological Society (ELS), Department of Otolaryngology of the University of Medical Sciences (UMP) and Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center (PSNC). The aim of the session is to demonstrate the latest methods used by surgeons of the leading European laryngological clinics. The hospitals from Genoa, Barcelona, Marseille, Luxembourg, Giessen, Leiden, Essen, Cagliari and Poznan will actively participate in this extraordinary event.
