The Science Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznan is the headquaters of the Poznan Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences as well as the site of the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center.
Access to the Center of Science – PAS:
- by public transport from the Main Railway Station / Bus Main Station; go to the “Poznań Główny” tram stop and take tram 10 towards POŁABSKA (MPK timetable), then get off at the “Most Teatralny” stop. Continue through the Most Teatralny (Theatre Bridge) towards A. Fredry Street. Then turn in front of the Teatr Wielki (Grand Theatre) building to the left in Street H. Wieniawskiego, at which, on the left, there is the main entrance to the Science Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
- by public transport from the Ławica airport; select bus route 159 (MPK timetable) and get off at the “Rondo Kaponiera” stop (13 stops). Get off at the “Rondo Kaponiera” stop. Then take tram 10 towards POŁABSKA (MPK timetable), then get off at the ‘Most Teatralny’ stop. Continue through the Most Teatralny (Theatre Bridge) towards A. Fredry Street. Then turn in front of Teatr Wielki (Grand Theater) building to the left in ul. H. Wieniawski, at which, on the left, there is the main entrance to the Science Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
- by taxi; we recommend choosing one of the registered corporations, e.g. (61) 8222-222, (61) 8519-519, (61) 8222-333. Please do not choose a taxi without prior telephone order! (taxis standing under the train station are very expensive). We also recommend using dedicated applications for passenger car transport, such as iTaxi and Uber.
