The ICOS project addresses the challenges associated with the computing continuum by offering a comprehensive approach – from precisely defined functions to the creation of an IoT2Cloud operating system.
The final version of the project’s software was the main topic of the three-day-long plenary meeting (25-27 February 2025), which took place in the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center and the Poznań Institute of Technology (Łukasiewicz Research Network).
The main goal of ICOS is to develop a meta-operating system integrating Internet of Things (edge and cloud) resources into a coherent computing ecosystem. It involves 24 research and development centers from across Europe.
ICOS is a part of the EUCloudEdgeIoT initiative.

Its primary goal is to promote physical activity and social support, so it provides various tools and strategies that are very useful in improving the quality of EmpowerHer participants’ lives. GN5-2 Project: nmaas Meeting at PSNC

Representatives of NRENs from Macedonia, Moldova, France, Greece, Croatia and PSNC – collectively known as the nmaas team got together to discuss further development of the GN5-2 project.
