NATO DIANA Defence & Security Days 2025

NATO DIANA Defence & Security Days 2025

The city of Kraków hosted the NATO DIANA Defense and Security Days. The event took place on 5 and 6 February and was supported by both the Polish Innovation Department of the Ministry of National Defense and the Kraków NATO DIANA Accelerator. It brought together experts involved in the development and acceleration of dual-use technology, end-users from the defense sector, entrepreneurs developing the latest technologies and investors.

The event was an opportunity for industry representatives to get acquainted with the ideas of innovative technological solutions with “dual-use” potential, as well as the opportunity to establish cooperation with foreign partners representing the North Atlantic Alliance.

Topics of the meeting included:

  • The importance of early engagement of end-users in the conversation,
  • Validation and testing of solutions in real-world conditions – experience from Ukraine indicates an urgent need to develop resilient, combat-ready solutions,
  • Dual-use technologies – combining commercial and defense applications poses a serious challenge while bringing tangible benefits.

2 400 companies from the North Atlantic Alliance applied for the 2nd edition of the NATO DIANA program. Four Polish companies – IS-Wireless, Blue Armada Robotics, Microamp and ResQuant – were among 74 winners.

PSNC AerospaceLab at the EPPG Kąkolewo airport is one of seven selected Polish test centers of the NATO DIANA program declaring the possibility of testing dual-use technologies in the areas of AUTONOMY, QUANTUM, CYBER, AI and BIGDATA.
