‘Colours of Science’ – outdoor exhibition marking the 20th anniversary of Poland in the European Union

To mark the occasion, an open-air exhibition entitled ‘Colours of Science’was presented in four cities: Warsaw, Krakow, Szczecin and Poznań. In the capital of Wielkopolska region, the exhibition can be seen in the courtyard of the headquarters of the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center at Jana Pawla II Street. ISC’24: PSNC systems again in the IO500 ranking

The HPC data storage system at the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center has again been highly ranked in the prestigious IO500 competition held during the ISC High Performance 2024 conference. The system took 8th place in the '10 Node Production List' category, in which it was listed for the first time, and 14th place in the 'Production List' category, in which the PSNC system has been present since 2023.

Polish HPC installations from PRACE-LAB and PRACE-LAB2 projects on the TOP500 list

During this year's ISC High Performance 2024, the largest HPC conference in Europe, which takes place from 13 to 16 May in Hamburg, Germany, the latest TOP500 list of the world's fastest supercomputers was announced. The list includes the fastest computing systems from the PRACE-LAB and PRACE-LAB2 projects. Two of them are systems from the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center.

This year's edition of the TNC conference, the largest event dedicated to scientific and academic networks in Europe, will take place in Rennes, France, from 10 to 14 June 2024. It will be hosted by RENATER. In the exhibition area accompanying the conference, the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center and the PIONIER Consortium will present ongoing projects and initiatives. PSNC will also once again be the event's technology partner.
