Award for the PELOSHA project

The Swiss Dalle Molle Foundation for Quality of Life has awarded the PELOSHA (Personalizable Services For Supporting Healthy Aging) project. The project is implemented by an international consortium of scientific and industrial units from Poland, Belgium, Switzerland and Hungary. Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center is the consortium leader.

Director of PSNC appointed to the AMU Economic Council

The Rector of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan – Professor Bogumiła Kaniewska handed in the appointments to the members of the Economic Council of the University. The Council consists of well-known personalities of economic life of Wielkopolska region and entire Poland. Among the appointed was the Director of Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center – Cezary Mazurek, PhD.

Cooperation Agreement on the Development of Technology and Competence for the Industry and Society of the Future

On 21 October 2021 the State Higher Vocational School in Walcz, represented by H.M. Rector, Dr Dariusz Skalski, professor of the university, signed an agreement on cooperation for the development of technologies and competences for the industry and society of the future with the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences – Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center, represented by Dr Cezary Mazurek – Director of PSNC.

DIH4CP Open Call has now launched

The DIH4CPS consortium has just started an open call for proposals for the support of Digital Innovation Hubs, which will end on December 13, 2021. Financial support is granted to DIHs for activities related to the area of embedded and cyber-physical systems.

PSNC provides technological support for Poznan Civic Budget

Starting from today up to October 22, residents of Poznan can vote for projects under this year’s Poznan Civic Budget. This year PLN 22 million is to be allocated, which is a million more than a year ago. The changes also apply to the rules of voting. As in previous years, the technological aspect of the project is carried out by PSNC.

eDWIN project awarded at Intelligent Development Forum

During the 6th Intelligent Development Forum, the eDWIN project received the Polish Intelligent Development Award in the category “Innovative digitization and data sharing”. The award was collected by representatives of the Wielkopolska Agricultural Advisory Center in Poznan. In total, as many as 19 partners participate in the project, including PSNC.

Project AI4Youth: recruitment extended until October 10

The recruitment to the AI4Youth project was extended at the request of schools. The pilot educational project is implemented by the PSNC and Software Development Academy for the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology on the basis of the Intel’s AI for Youth program. The new deadline for sending applications is October 10, 2021.

Social action in the AMUNatColl project

Until September 25 a social campaign is being organized in the framework of the AMUNatColl project, carried out by the Faculty of Biology, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan together with PSNC. The project entitled “Non-divine ambrosia” aims to develop a map of the occurrence of allergenic plants of the ambrosia genus in Poznan and to prepare a report on the allergological risk.
