Active participation of PSNC in the illuMINEation project

The European mining industry is increasingly looking for solutions to redesign traditional mining processes through the adoption of pioneering innovations, accompanied by the extensive use of data analytics and new types of technology use, in particular the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). The EU-funded illuMINEation project will create a multi-level distributed IIoT platform, which will be developed by a consortium created together with PSNC.

The cooling system of the new PSNC supercomputer has been installed

At the beginning of 2021, a new parallel processing system (HPC supercomputer), purchased under the PRACE-LAB project, will be put into operation. This system, included in the TOP500 list of the fastest computers in the world, is the result of building a national, distributed HPC system for parallel computing, financed under the OP IR structural funds, measure 4.2 in the field of research infrastructure of particular importance for Poland.

PSNC joined the DataCite Registered Service Providers program

The Registered Service Provider program is run within the DataCite consortium and associates institutions that enable other members to create and modify information about registered DOI numbers in an automated way, i.e. through dedicated DataCite API. PSNC has been included in this program.
