PSNC IoT department prints 3D visors for hospitals in Poznań

PSNC IoT department joined the action “3D visors for Poznan hospitals”, organized by a firefighter from Poznan, (Jezyce district) Bartosz Urbanski. So far, thanks to a joint action of many companies, institutions and volunteers – 767 visors have been delivered to Poznań hospitals.

The covid-monitor.org website was launched in cooperation with PSNC, together with the team of prof. Przemysław Guzik from the Poznan Univeristy of Medical Sciences and a group of programming specialists from CodeLab from the team of dr Sebastian Żurek. The main purpose of the service is to help you assess your own health during the SARS-CoV-2 virus outbreak (coronavirus).

The Digital Libraries Federation (FBC) collects and makes available descriptions of digital objects created by distributed digital libraries, archives, museums. Digital objects are a digitised representation of books, magazines, articles, or even sculptures and paintings. The FBC has more than 6 million such objects, more than 5 million published as open access objects and more than 3 million published in the Public Domain.

​The European Commission published information about the H2020 PROTECTIVE project – “Proactive Risk Management through Improved Cyber ​​Situational Awareness”, which was completed last year. PSNC was the Partner of this project. The aim of PROTECTIVE was to develop tools to support the operational activities of teams responsible for cyber security.
