The first open call is aimed at technology providers and end-users who can benefit from collaboration and solutions developed using ICOS. Participation guarantees up to €200,000 in funding, and a 12-month support period. The deadline for applications is November 2, 2023.

The EuroHPC JU has signed hosting agreements with six sites across Europe to host & operate EuroHPC quantum computers. These quantum computers will allow European users to explore a variety of quantum technologies coupled to leading supercomputers.

Welcome to the second episode of PSNC Podcast. This time, specialists from the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center will introduce the Dariah.Lab project – implemented to build a research infrastructure for digital humanities. This infrastructure has been placed on the Polish Roadmap for Research Infrastructures in the area of social sciences and humanities.

Biochemist and former President of the Polish Academy of Sciences – Prof. Andrzej Bogusław Legocki received the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. From 1988 to 2003, Professor Legocki was the Director of the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences. During his tenure, the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center affiliated with the Institute was established in 1993.

The tool implemented by the Office of Digitisation and Cyber Security of the UMP in cooperation with the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center received an honorable mention in this year’s edition of the “Innovative Local Government” competition. The idea was initiated by the Department for Support of Municipal Auxiliary Units of Poznań City Hall. This modern solution was recognised as it helps estate councils to operate efficiently.

The second part of the technological cooling system equipment delivery took place at the Technology Halls Building of the Polish Optical Internet Research Center (CBPIO). Thanks to the extension of the cooling capacity, the building will be equipped with two cooling circuits with a capacity of 1.2 MW each, thanks to which it will be possible to ensure a high level of availability of equipment cooled classically by air with the use of a refrigerant.

On 26 May 2023, Integrale IT, as part of the implementation of Contract No. 131/PCSS/2023 dated 13.03.2023, delivered to the CBPIO Technology Rooms Building, elements of the long-term data storage system related to the implementation of the project “National Data Storage (NDS). Universal infrastructure for sharing, storage and effective processing of large data volumes in HPC, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence models”.

Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center has been granted membership in the European Platform for Sport Innovation (EPSI). Headquartered in Brussels, EPSI is a membership-based, non-profit organization focusing its activities on innovation in the field of sport, as well as physical activity and healthy lifestyle.
