EUhubs4data: completion of AI4SAM experiment supported by PSNC

The experiment AI4SAM – AI for fostering soft and active mobility to accelerate European’s transition to climate neutrality ran by Kentyou in the framework of EUHubs4Data’s first round of experiments focused on the optimisation of the location of soft mobility stations (shared/electric bikes, scooters, cars) in different cities (urban, rural, industrial) to reduce CO2 emissions caused by mobility.

Agreement on the Polish Network of Autonomous Technology Poligons

The main objectives of the agreement for the construction and development of the Autonomous Technology Poligons is to support the development of unmanned systems technology in Poland and to stimulate scientific and research cooperation, as well as business collaboration, by providing specialized, previously unavailable test infrastructure. PRACE Steering Committee Meeting

The meeting of the PRACE Steering Committee (7-8.06.2022) summarised the activities of the second phase of PRACE 2.0 completed with the process of sharing Tier-0 and Tier-1 resources. PRACE is an international consortium responsible for building HPC infrastructure in Europe and scientific collaboration with the use of advanced computing.

Cooperation agreement with the Vocational Education and Training Center in Grodzisk Wlkp.

The Vocational Education and Training Center in Grodzisk Wielkopolski, represented by its Director Anna Matysiak, signed a cooperation agreement with Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center, represented by the Director of PSNC – Cezary Mazurek, Ph.D. As part of the cooperation, PSNC will be involved in, among others, organization of attractive apprenticeships and internships.

Summary of the project “Internet-based Platform for Advice and Decision Support in Integrated Plant Protection”

Dr Eng. Norbert Meyer appointed to the 2nd edition of the INFRAG Group

In April this year, the second edition of the INFRAG expert group was established. It is an independent group of experts, operating at EuroHPC, whose task is to define long-term plans for the development of infrastructure for advanced computing (HPC), including the requirements for the data infrastructure and associated services. Director of Data Processing Technologies Division – Norbert Meyer, Ph.D. has been reappointed to the new INFRAG group.
