DARIAH-PL project’s objective is to build an intelligent digital infrastructure for wide-scale research in arts and humanities. The infrastructure will enable digital resource acquisition and data integration across various fields, as well as processing, visualization, storage, and access to digital assets and their metadata. A network of research laboratories will be equipped with advanced tools, services, and resources for interdisciplinary research conducted in connection with the industry.
Expected Results:
- Broadened range of multi-disciplinary research conducted in the fields of arts and humanities,
- Digitization and protection of material and non-material cultural heritage accessible to a wide range of users,
- Increased competitiveness of Polish research and cultural institution within the country and abroad,
- An increased pace of the creative industry and regional tourism development.
The project is implemented by 15 members of the DARIAH-PL consortium and the Poznan University of Technology. DARIAH-PL is the largest humanities consortium in Poland. It is composed of 18 leading Polish scientific and research institutions. The Consortium has been a member of the European network of DARIAH-ERI since November 2015.
