PSNC at the National Field Days 2023

This coming weekend, from 3 to 5 June 2023, Sielinko will become the Polish capital of agriculture. All thanks to the 4th National Field Days organised by the Wielkopolska Agricultural Advisory Centre in Poznan, Poland. During the event, the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center will present modern IT solutions for agriculture.

More than 800 crop varieties, 18 hectares of land, hundreds of animals, state-of-the-art solutions in agriculture, performances by regional music bands, handicrafts, tastings or historical agricultural equipment – this is what the National Field Days promises to be – the largest industry event in Poland, which every year attracts tens of thousands of visitors and hundreds of industry companies from all over Poland.

One of the most important zones at the event will be the Demonstration Fields Zone. On over 18 hectares of land, all visitors will have the opportunity to see over 800 varieties of crops.

The Innovation Zone will focus on modern agriculture in practice and the demonstrations of the most modern tools used in agriculture. Examples of the use of robots and drones will be demonstrated, as well as the eDWIN application, implemented in collaboration with PSNC, which supports farmers in farm management. Presentations will also cover the topics of precision farming and artificial intelligence.

The Innovation Zone will also showcase other projects and services implemented by the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center, such as Datamite, AI4EOSC, ScaleAGData, ICOS, AgriFoodTEF, AgriDataSpace, Stargate, AD4GD, EOSC DIH and EuHubs4Data.
