PSNC for the Strategy of economic promotion of the Wielkopolska region in the years 2010-2020
Wielkopolska Marshal Office is creating a strategy for promoting economy of the region for the next 10 years. Poznań Supercomputing and Network Center has been invited to cooperate in developing the document.
The project aims to determine the most effective ways to promote the local economy and its companies to increase their competitiveness, especially in exports. In order to identify ways to co-finance promotional activities of companies from Wielkopolska, the Office consulted with the most innovative operators in the region. Among them there was the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center. Understanding the development plans of these companies and incorporating their needs will allow more effective EU funds spending within the Wielkopolska Regional Operational Programme and regional funds in the years 2014 to 2020.

Today in Poznań, a consultative meeting of representatives of the Marshal Office with the entrepreneurs from Poznań was held. A similar meeting was also held in Piła, Konin, Kalisz and Leszno. At the end of November and the beginning of December companies and institutions invited to collaborate on a strategy will also take part in a discussion workshop, during which the participants will be able to submit proposals and ideas on specific provisions of the draft document. The final version of the Strategy is to be presented in Poznań later this year.
