Between 11 and 13 March PCSS hosted all partners involved in building the European EOSC node at a working meeting summarizing the activities carried out so far as part of the EOSC EU Node. Together with the European Commission, topics were discussed to prepare an action plan that will enable the implementation of 13 new national nodes within the framework of a single European EOSC federation in 2025.
The discussions focused on:
• scenarios that the EOSC EU NODE (EEN) will provide to national and thematic nodes to facilitate the implementation of their services,
• defining the assumptions for building the federation (AAI),
• using the infrastructure and foundational services of OpenStack, containers, and large-scale data transfer (Bulk Data Transfer) – PCSS,
• building national and thematic EOSC services using EEN services,
• the security of services and data.
As a summary of the meeting, a set of scenarios (use cases) was decided, through which EEN will enable the implementation of further federated services in Europe.

GN5-2 Project Presentation at FOSDEM 2025

EmpowerHer – a New Project for Women

EmpowerHer is the name of an innovative program designed for breast cancer survivors, who are encouraged to participate in it during their recovery. Its primary goal is to promote physical activity and social support, so it provides various tools and strategies that are very useful in improving the quality of EmpowerHer participants’ lives. Part of the program is a user-friendly mobile app, which gives women access to personalized exercise routines tailored to their individual needs and abilities.
