PSNC is the patron of the National Conference for Young Scientists

“Contemporary trends and perspectives in computer science and management” is the motto of the 1st National Conference for Young Scientists, which will take place on 17 and 18 October, 2024. The event is organised by the Poznan University of Technology under the auspices of the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center.

The conference is aimed at doctorants conducting research in the fields of management and quality as well as computer science. The two days will include thematic lectures, plenary sessions, workshops and a scientific debate. The conference is organised by the Faculty Doctoral Boards of the Faculties of Management Engineering and Computer Science and Telecommunications.

On the first day of the conference, two parallel plenary sessions will be held, during which doctoral students will have the opportunity to present the results of their research in the form of papers and posters. These will be combined with talks by speakers who will share their knowledge and perhaps inspire further research.

On the second day, the organisers invite you to workshops on research methods and tools. One of the speakers in this part of the event will be Piotr Rydlichowski from the Network and Service Infrastructure Department at PSNC, who will present a workshop entitled Quantum computing as part of a hybrid supercomputing and networking infrastructure supporting the analysis and solution of optimisation problems.

The best papers, posters and presentations will be awarded at the end of the conference.
