PSNC organizes the TNC21 Conference – this time fully remotely

As in previous years, the PSNC technical team is organizing this year’s TNC21 – The Networking Conference. The event takes place from June 21-25, 2021, completely online for the first time. The theme of the event is “Making Waves”.

Preparations started a few months ago and this week is about finalizing all organizational activities. Participants were given access to a specially prepared platform where they can participate in sessions, watch the conference studio, contact other guests, as well as take part in social events, visit virtual sponsors’ booths or view a poster session.

Two broadcasting studios were established – in Amsterdam and Poznan, from where the technical side of the event is carried out and  where the so-called “Live performances” of the hosts take place. They announce, comment and invite participants to the next sessions and lectures.

It is worth mentioning that this year, the number of registered participants is record high and amounts to 1723 people from 105 countries, including 41 PSNC employees. According to statistics prepared especially for the conference summary, the remote nature of the TNC helped to save 353 trees and 6,000 hours of travels by participants.
