This year’s edition of the TNC conference, the largest event dedicated to scientific and academic networks in Europe, will take place in Rennes, France, from 10 to 14 June 2024. It will be hosted by RENATER. In the exhibition area accompanying the conference, the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center and the PIONIER Consortium will present ongoing projects and initiatives. PSNC will also once again be the event’s technology partner.
Each edition of The Networking Conference gathers nearly a thousand participants, specialists and managers of the most important scientific networks in Europe, as well as representatives of research organisations, universities and industry. In addition to lectures by eminent specialists, there are numerous discussions, sessions and presentations. TNC is also an opportunity to review the latest developments in research networking, both in the technical field and in network application and management. The conference is a chance to meet all those who work together on collaborative research projects throughout the year. It is also a time for plans and summaries, confrontation of results and presentation of achievements within the national scientific networks.
PSNC, as the main technological partner of the conference, will provide a full multimedia environment, with cameras covering the main events and the main sessions being broadcast online.

ISC’24: PSNC systems again in the IO500 ranking

The HPC data storage system at the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center has again been highly ranked in the prestigious IO500 competition held during the ISC High Performance 2024 conference. The system took 8th place in the '10 Node Production List' category, in which it was listed for the first time, and 14th place in the 'Production List' category, in which the PSNC system has been present since 2023.

During this year's ISC High Performance 2024, the largest HPC conference in Europe, which takes place from 13 to 16 May in Hamburg, Germany, the latest TOP500 list of the world's fastest supercomputers was announced. The list includes the fastest computing systems from the PRACE-LAB and PRACE-LAB2 projects. Two of them are systems from the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center.
